CYP 10 - 2 Club
Established in 1992, the Club works with over 150 young people a year, aiming to assist them with their self-development aspirations, engage, assess, refer and provide support in their chosen opportunities, provide productive opportunities across a range of youth interests, provide recreational, social and educational activities and out-of-school support, including youth clubs and after-schools, and provide advice and guidance on a range of lifestyle topics including health and well being. Over the years CYP 10-2 club has worked in close liaison with young people in planning and implementing its activities. We value their opinions and ideas and have been at the cutting edge of new initiatives and finding new ways of working with young people. We are aware of the acute boredom experienced by young people in the area and the lack of social, leisure and vocational facilities available to them especially during school holidays and after school. The project will offer a series of themed workshops to give young people relevant knowledge and skills so they can make informed choices. E.g. around health and well-being.
